Physiotherapy
Our key competencies are in the fields of conservative and post-operative rehab after injuries of the musculoskeletal system as well as in the therapy of pain and functional impairment induced by stress.
| Manual therapy >> |
The therapist uses manual methods to treat pain and impaired mobility involving joints, muscles and nerves.
|
Massage >> |
Massage is an indulgence for body and soul. The classic "Swedish" massage is performed using oil. Pressure, pulling and stretching lead to physical and mental relaxation. By enhancing circulation, massage promotes the healing of wounds. Massage alleviates pain, stress and muscular tension and has positive effects on cellular metabolism, and the immune system.
|
Lymphatic drainage / KPE >> |
Manual lymphatic drainage is a massage technique that activates lymph flow through the lymphatic vessels thus reducing edema. The Complex Physical Decongestion therapy (KPE) additionally involves bandaging, special exercise techniques and skincare. |
Kinesio Tape >> |
Elastic taping along muscles, ligaments, lymphatic vessels or for inducing correct posture or movement. The objective is reduction of pain, improved circulation and support of muscular and joint function. |
Reflectory breathing therapy >> |
Warm compresses and an intensive massage technique release blockades and induce relaxation. Experience deep breathing ventilating your bronchial tubes! In addition, you will receive instructions for stretching exercises. |
Trigger point therapy >> |
Hyperirritable spots in skeletal muscle are detected and receive special treatment |
Mandibular joint therapy >> |
Migraine or head- and neckaches are often caused by dysfunctions of the mandibular joint or of its adjoining structures (e.g. muscles). The therapist will devise a therapy plan adapted to your diagnosis. |
Physical methods >> |
Electrotherapy, ultrasound, ice, heat (fango, mudpacks, hot compresses, infrared light). These accompanying methods complement other therapies and enhance treatment success. |
Extensions (sling table) >> |
You will float! Complete or partial suspension relieves strain from especially exposed regions in order to facilitate regeneration. In combination with heat, you will experience beneficial relaxation. |
Preventive back pain training >> |
You will learn techniques that will help you to prevent back pain. After the training sessions, you will receive a program providing guidance for excercises you can carry out by yourself. |
Craniosacral therapy >> |
Gentle manual method for harmonization and improved balance activating self-healing processes. The treatment causes a feeling of inner balance, calm and profound relaxation. |
Matrix-rhythm-therapy >> |
Matrix-rhythm-therapy enhances microcirculation and regeneration of the treated tissue and activates the surrounding muscles |
